Design of an Automated Storage and Traceability System for Additive Manufacturing
Abstract
This project updates the design of TRAC3D, an automated part storage system associated with Triditive’s AMCELL mass additive manufacturing machine, in which multiple printing arms operate within an enclosed chamber. The aim is to automate the storage and traceability of manufactured parts, enabling additive manufacturing production to scale up to meet industrial requirements. The outcome is a pre-industrial system that meets the expectations of the industry.
